2009 Les Collines, Petit Verdot

We are proud to release a unique Petit Verdot that presents the typical complex notes of the variety but delivers them in an elegant fashion. The wine is a beautiful, deep garnet color. It opens with perfume notes of roses and violets followed by aromas of dried cranberry and a hint of sandalwood. Pleasant dark fruits round out a rich mid palate, leading into a black pepper finish. This wine is unfiltered to show off its natural beauty.

2009 Roller Girl Jammer Red - Walla Walla Valley

A blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 11% Merlot. It shows black cherry, anise and baking spice notes in the nose. We focus on the balance of fruit and integrated oak. In the mouth you will enjoy a burst of cherry, raspberry and cocoa flavors. This wine will pair well with grilled meat, hard cheeses and Portobello mushrooms.

2010 Roller Girl Blocker Rose'

This is the first of the Rose' series under the Roller Girl label. It is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Pinot Noir. It opens with a nose of strawberries and watermelon. The mouth is full of fresh fruit flavors that is balanced with a bright clean finish.

2008 Merlot - Columbia Valley
The Merlot vines are 15+ years old and the vineyard sits on a south facing slope along the Snake River, just north of the Walla Walla Valley AVA. It opens with intense blackberry, tobacco and cherry blossom aromas that carry into a mouthful of boysenberry, cherry and a touch of spice on the finish. This wine has a mild oak profile so the distinct fruit flavors can shine.

VINEYARD: Lodmell Vineyard

2009 Vineyard Select, Columbia Valley Merlot

This small lot, vineyard select varietal is 100% Merlot. The fruit was selected from the same source as the 2008 Merlot. Lodmell Vineyard sits above the Snake River. The south facing slope and older vines lend to the complexity of this wine. The wine was aged in 30% New Hungarian oak, 50% 2 year French oak and 20% neutral. It opens with a lush blackberry and spiced mulberry nose. On the palate it shows black cherry, blueberry, brown sugar and baking spice in the finish. This is the first vintage we have experimented with Hungarian oak and we are very pleased with the spice and structure this oak offers our Merlot.
